Frequently asked questions

Is the app really free?

Yes. The first full mock exam is free, no account required. To unlock all 6 mock exams, there's an optional subscription.

How do I cancel my subscription?

All billing is handled through Apple. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Select DELE A2.
  5. Tap Cancel Subscription.

The cancellation is immediate. You keep access until the end of the period you've already paid for.

How do I restore my purchase on another device?

In the app, go to Account and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID you used when you subscribed.

I changed my password / can't sign in

If you signed up with email and password, on the sign-in screen tap Forgot password? and we'll send a reset link. If you signed in with Apple or Google, that login is handled by Apple/Google directly.

How do I delete my account and data?

Inside the app: Account → Delete Account. Deletion is immediate and removes all your personal and progress data from our servers.

I found an error in an exam question

Is the app affiliated with Instituto Cervantes?

No. DELE A2 Practice is an independent preparation tool. The official DELE A2 exam is organized and certified solely by Instituto Cervantes. This app is built by independent developers as a practice resource.

Is there an Android version?

Not yet. We're working on it. To get notified when it's available, email hello@delea2.com with "Notify me when Android is available" and we'll let you know.

The audio isn't working

Check that your iPhone's silent switch is off and the volume is up. If it still doesn't play:

  1. Force-close the app (swipe up).
  2. Reopen it.
  3. If the issue persists, reinstall the app (you won't lose your progress if you're signed in).

If nothing works, email us with your iPhone model and iOS version.

My subscription didn't activate

Sometimes Apple takes a few seconds to confirm payment. Wait 1 minute and reopen the app. If it still doesn't activate:

  1. Tap Account → Restore Purchases in the app.
  2. If it still doesn't show, email us with your account email and the approximate date of purchase.
